Rust Repair

When it comes to rust repairs we take a different approach to it. We start the process with removing the damaged area, then taking the time to clean up any surface rust that was hidden behind that damaged panel with a wire wheel and grinder and treat it with our rust neutralizer paint. We then apply weld thru primer to the seams & then repeat the process on the new body panel before it is welded into place! Once the rust neutralizer paint is cured we then begin the process of mig welding the new body panel into the correct location. No panels are ever over lapped, (riveted down & then seam sealed) into place. We make sure that all panels are fully but welded together with all welds being grounded down leaving behind a smooth seamless repair. The only things that get seam sealer are the seams from the factory & the only body panels that get over lapped are the ones from the factory. such as seams & pinch welds!! If a large surface needs to be replaced such as a trunk or full floor, we’ll normally weld in bracing to keep structure in the vehicle to prevent it from twisting or moving! Once the rust repair is complete we give our customers the option of leaving the new panel in primer or painting it with a rust preventative paint or if the repair was done on an exterior piece we give the option of a paint blend that’s performed by our incredible painter.
